1. Consumer orders: right to cancel
If you're a consumer (an individual buying outside the course of a business), you have a statutory right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of delivery, without giving a reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive as implemented in Ireland. To cancel, contact us using the details below. You'll need to return the goods at your own cost, unused and in their original packaging where possible, within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel. We'll refund the price paid (including standard delivery cost) within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or evidence you've sent them.
2. Business and public-sector orders
The statutory cancellation right above applies to consumers, not to businesses or public bodies ordering under a purchase order. For those orders, cancellation and return terms are whatever is agreed in writing at the time of order.
3. Faulty or damaged goods
If a scanner arrives faulty or damaged, or develops a fault covered by warranty, this is separate from the cancellation right above and isn't subject to the 14-day window. Contact us with your order details and a description of the fault: we'll arrange a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate under the manufacturer's warranty and your statutory rights.
